Students from the University of Bologna begin their first semester at Bologna. In the second semester, they can choose to either continue their studies at their home university or study abroad at another institution. During the third semester, all students in the Master’s program come together at Université de Franche-Comté in Besançon for a shared semester. For the final semester, students who participated in an exchange during the second semester can complete their Master’s thesis, while those who did not must travel to a third country to do so.
