Students from the Technical University of Ilmenau complete their first year of the Master’s program (both the first and second semesters) at their home university. In the third semester, all students in the program gather at Université Marie et Louis Pasteur in Besançon for a joint semester. During the final semester, students travel to a third country, either the University of Groningen or the University of Bologna, to complete their Master’s thesis.
